Why I chose this costume:
Back then I was a complete fan of Tokyo Mew Mew. I really liked the story (for what I have seen). This was my very first cosplay and my very first convention I would attend so I chose Mew Ichigo since she was pretty easy to make.
It was also me first year of fashion school. Therefore, it was a good project to learn some basics.
How did I make it?
I used two simple patterns. I also used them for my Chii cosplay.
A strapless top and a circle skirt. I used pink cotton for it.
I made my tail out of a fluffy fabric and made bootcovers (which looked terrible)
Later I spraypainted my boots into pink for my Haado Lezu cosplay.
So I did a photoshoot with my bad wig, spray painted boots and a hoodie I've once made in my pictures.
Other thoughts:
It was my first cosplay ever so I think I did a good job.
Too bad I didn't had a good wig for the pictures and that I had to use a hoodie to cover it.
