Why I chose this costume:
My boyfriend once cosplayed Haado gei (Hard Gay) on Animecon 2006. He became very popular from that moment.
I've seen a picture of a HL next to Haado Gei (HG)...so I thought it should be Haado Lezu.
I don't know where this weird idea of mine came from, but I wanted to cosplay next to him as Haado Lezu.
It was a great success after all
How did I make it?
It was such an easy cosplay. I found a perfect vinyl fabric on the market. I made a little short out of it and found a pattern of a nice tuxedo vest.
The tuxedo vest was a little bit hard to make because I didn't understand the pattern explanation very well.
Anyways the tuxedo vest came out great and I found a great hat.
The glasses are my own ones and I paint my old black boots into pink.
Other thoughts:
This was a very weird costume to walk in. I felt very nasty and the vinyl made everything look even more wrong.
We won with the cosplay competition with Best Acting.
My fiancée and I had a great evening walking in this and allot of people who wanted to take pictures.
